She has had me for over year and this will be my 2nd winter with her. For some reason, even though there isn't any snow yet (we both thank goodness) my ears have been super cold inside the house. Mom says the heat is already at 70 and doesn't want to crank it up more. She covers me with a blanket, but I only stay under it if she is right next to me. She likes the pc and usually is up and down so much, I can't sit by her. She does laundry and other things around the apartment.
I'm such a large boy that she can't find anything decent fitting for me to wear. I got a fleece shirt last year that she had to slice around the neck, just so I could breathe. It looks terrible. She is on a mission to find a decent sweater, but knows a custom one will also come with a hefty price tag. She isn't happy about that.
So in the meantime I have resorted to curling up like I have seen cats do. Anyone else?!?!!?!?!
Buddy, you are so cute. I have to say doggie clothes are not fun to wear, and not easy to find perfect one... unfortunately, we have to wear something when outside wind chill goes down to 20 below or colder....it is not cold, it hurts.. : ( We both hope this winter will be milder than usual... stay warmie~

I agree Sammy ~ mom thought she found a great wool sweater for me to wear....still tight around the neck, and I refused to lay down while wearing it. I guess I can compromise with her and still wear it outside. She says inside for a bit, cuz she at least wants to take come pics to share. *grunt* *sigh*

My ears get cold too Buddy but I just bury my head under a pillow or some blankets until they warm up. Hope you find a sweater that fits you!

Mom has checked out all the links and will keep thinking about it all....it hasn't snowed here at all, so maybe after the holiday craziness is over, the search will continue.....

ReplyDeleteI'm the same way! Mom can always tell when I'm cold by feeling my ears and sometimes even my feet. I have a great set of t-shirts, but unfortunately for both of us, that company isn't in business. It's a shame too because they designed the shirts with barrel chested dogs in mind. I would go to your local dog boutique and see if you can try on a few things there. Maybe a bulldog size would fit and all you'd have to do it trim the length? Another option is to look at Pugjamas by Southern Fried Pugs (they have an etsy shop) and Pug Possessed also has custom pug clothes...both are very reasonably priced. Good Luck!
