Fur Kid Safety

Since I am moms only fur kid, she is all about my safety.  So she wanted to share with you one of her favorite items....if you are on facebook, you know about this already....but she thought it was worth sharing again.  :@{

Reflectiveness

At the time these were taken, I had a harness and leash combo....today I only have the leash. (mom takes a gazillion pictures, she wanted the harness to blend in with me, solid black.)

Mom likes it because it's not like the little led lights that hang from a dog collar, which you have to keep replacing batteries! Ugh!!  It's a reflective material, which works like a bicycle reflector.  It only appears to "light up" when a light source is actually on it.  During the daylight, it's just a normal leash.

The only thing mom found out (probably from lack of reading directions) is that if you wash it in the washing machine on a normal cycle, the material deteriorates. She hand washes the new one with just a little hand soap and rinse with clear water, so far it's doing great.
