A little more about me....

Since I hijacked my moms blog, I thought I'd tell you a little more about myself.

That's moms first picture of me.  What you can't tell from the picture, is that I wasn't a puppy!!!  I'm a recycled pug. I was a whopping five years old already. I came from the Foster parents who had 8 other animals, so I think I was just super excited to be getting so much attention...ALL FOR ME!!!!

My mom isn't even sure of my birth name, so she just calls me Buddy, well, that isn't entirely true...lately it seems she says "mybabiez" all in one rushed breath of air.

I wonder sometimes if she is part pug herself though, we stare at each other sometimes and she usually knows what I want. Weather it's play a bit of tug o' war.....go potty....or dinnertime.  She even hugs me after I sometimes get sick on the carpet.  She even loves to nap with me during the day.  She even knew I had an ear infection and told the Vet.  The vet wasn't happy about that.  Some people and their power trips. *snort* Total pug stuff, mom gets it.

  • As my other blog post stated, I'm not a foodie pug.
    • I am a couch pug.
    • I like my 40 minute daily walk, but otherwise it is snooze time for me.
    • I'm not a sunbather.
    • I'm 33 pounds, so I can't quite cuddle with mom, but I sit super close to her.
    • Mom sometimes likes to walk longer than my little legs can go, and I'm too large to carry home, so she is getting me a pet stroller...I'm not sure about it, but will keep you posted.
    • I don't bark at other dogs. Most of the time I just sit and watch what silliness they do.
    • I do defend my window and my door.  Mom thanks me in those cases, cuz she understand, that I *AM* a dog.  It's just what we do.
    • I don't mind the rain or the snow or mud.
    • I love to be outside and watch everything....but mom won't let me out alone because she read somewhere that pugs can be deathly allergic to bees.

That's quite enough about me. You may now go back to the most entertaining thing you were doing before reading this.

  1. Buddy, you had me with that big smile of yours! And don't worry, all pugs are a little different and that's what makes us cool!
    Love,
    Payton
PS. It's not the humans that are pug, it's the pugs that are part human!
