Buddy mom here.
My boy isn't jumping anymore. Most of the time he jumps on the couch with no issues at all. But the last 3 days he refuses too. I don't think his hind legs hurt him...he doesn't limp or whine.
do you think he maybe just pulled a muscle??
he is a little lethargic lately, but will still eat and go potty. I can touch his legs and stuff, he doesn't yelp or move or growl....he just won't jump.
My poor boy.
The lethargy coupled with the non-jumping would be disconcerting to me. Animals are honest, and if they aren't doing something they used to do, there is a reason.
ReplyDeleteI'm with TW on this one. See if he winces as you pinch his neck and back down the spine. Might be a disk issue. I would take a trip to the vet when you can just in case.

I agree with the first two comments. Animals are definitely creatures of habit, so this is a bit worrying. Good that he is not wincing or anything crazy, but still. Get well soon Buddy!

I hope Buddy is okay. Sometimes I don't like the jump up either, but I'll be still be wanting to get up and letting my humans know it. Hope Buddy is okay!
