Hello Blogville.

It's been entirely too long, I know.  Mom says she is sorry, but she hasn't had the time, or much of the energy.  Her j-o-b has had her working almost 60 hours per week, since she started, three months ago!

She isn't complaining (much) and neither am I (much).  But, we wanted you all to know we are doing fine and things are well.

She actually made the time and took me to the park....it was SO fun!!!

Mom said she had about 4 other photos, but for some reason, the transfer from the cell phone, to the desk pc....they got lost.  But do not FEAR!   For I shall return to this heaven on earth and we will repeat it until mom gets it right!!!!  Rest Assured.

So, on my photoshoot day...........the darling (but completely over worked) sweetheart Amanda wanted me to sit in some grass on a hill.........

I wasn't having it.

So, she then tried to move me over to a more steady area with some flowers......

I wasn't having it.

Mom said that Amanda said I was super mellow and was amazed that I didn't even chew my treats funny!!!  (Mom marked on the profile that she wanted a funny picture, and Amanda said that she can usually get that when pugs chew something.  Not so much with me.)

However!!!!!!!

I guess I just had to do it on my own terms.....cuz at some rest stops.........

this is what happened...all on my own doing too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  (Mom only walks me on a leash for my safety.....I normally lead to where ever I want to go and she follows.)

monday night drama....

(no Buddy stuff...just have to vent)


after about 9 hrs of driving..........about an hour more to go............my lovely driver gets so anxious about getting home that she almost smushes us between two semi's.

I was sooooo mad....................the words were flying, let me tell you!!!!

Monday.....BIG DAY!!

It's photoshoot day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back in the car AGAIN!!!!! for the bazzillionth time.

I sleep most of the way...until about 10am.  10am is my bladder wake up time.   I guess we get to the park where we are supposed to be at, so mom lets me out where she sees a few other dogs running around.    She is a little nervous because she doesn't see any pugs nor anyone with a camera.  Hmmmm.

We walk for a little while.  She checks her email on her phone but doesn't see anything from 1k pugs.  Odd.

Another drive by the park area, perhaps there is another entrance?!?!   Nope.  We head over to this biggest puddle I have ever seen!!!!

 Back in the car again, and mom is getting anxious.....our appt. is at 10:40 and it is now 10:00.

I guess she finally finds something on her phone....and now we have to go looking for this pic in real life.

Thankfully it is just on the other side of the park we were at.

Mom didn't take any pics cuz she hates being in a new place with new people and she felt like an idiot for forgetting my dog bag with my treats, toys, eyes wipes, and snout snoother in the car.  Ugh.

Then it was Sunday...

We arrived at something called Pugfest.

It was crazy busy.

Just kept seeing a million feet go by.

Mom gave me some treats to try, but I just wasn't in the mood.

Mom felt terrible for me....so we didn't really stay for more than 10 minutes.

Mom said there was a lot of cuteness there though! Like this little girl.....

Forever and a day later....

We arrived to where we were going.

Before I could do that, rest in something that isn't moving or bumping or having the sun follow me.....I had to contend with THIS:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A rottie who *thinks* he is my size....and most certainly is NOT!!!!

yeah. it was an eventful Friday.  

Geesh.

bumpy start

Get to Enterprise thursday night to pick up the rental car.
Mixed up the pick up dates.  Had it scheduled for Friday night.
Luckily, they just upgraded it to a mid-sized car.
Phew.

Left way toooooo early for WI on Friday morning.

About an hour and half outside of Columbus.....the rear tire blew.  No one was hurt. 
Called AAA and Enterprise.
Enterprise said there was another one not half a mile away and we could swap out cars.
Before AAA came, Freeway Safety Patrol pulled up and changed the tire!!!!!!!!! 

Sooooo relieved!!!!!!!  YAY!!!!  All he wanted in return was to fill out a comment card.  Hell yah!!!  Give me the whole fricken stack!!!!!!!!  :D :D

On the road again.........................................

About an hour away..................mom realizes she forgot all the directions........but is pretty sure she remembers them....as long as none of the interstates are closed......

WE are off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm off to be in the car for forever and a day and then hopefully my awesome day at my 1k pug photoshoot!!!!
