after about 9 hrs of driving..........about an hour more to go............my lovely driver gets so anxious about getting home that she almost smushes us between two semi's.
I was sooooo mad....................the words were flying, let me tell you!!!!

Monday.....BIG DAY!!
It's photoshoot day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Back in the car AGAIN!!!!! for the bazzillionth time.
I sleep most of the way...until about 10am. 10am is my bladder wake up time. I guess we get to the park where we are supposed to be at, so mom lets me out where she sees a few other dogs running around. She is a little nervous because she doesn't see any pugs nor anyone with a camera. Hmmmm.
We walk for a little while. She checks her email on her phone but doesn't see anything from 1k pugs. Odd.
Another drive by the park area, perhaps there is another entrance?!?! Nope. We head over to this biggest puddle I have ever seen!!!!
Back in the car again, and mom is getting anxious.....our appt. is at 10:40 and it is now 10:00.
I guess she finally finds something on her phone....and now we have to go looking for this pic in real life.
Thankfully it is just on the other side of the park we were at.
Mom didn't take any pics cuz she hates being in a new place with new people and she felt like an idiot for forgetting my dog bag with my treats, toys, eyes wipes, and snout snoother in the car. Ugh.

Then it was Sunday...
We arrived at something called Pugfest.
It was crazy busy.
Just kept seeing a million feet go by.
Mom gave me some treats to try, but I just wasn't in the mood.

Forever and a day later....
We arrived to where we were going.

bumpy start
Get to Enterprise thursday night to pick up the rental car.
Mixed up the pick up dates. Had it scheduled for Friday night.
Luckily, they just upgraded it to a mid-sized car.
Phew.
Left way toooooo early for WI on Friday morning.
About an hour and half outside of Columbus.....the rear tire blew. No one was hurt.
Called AAA and Enterprise.
Enterprise said there was another one not half a mile away and we could swap out cars.
Before AAA came, Freeway Safety Patrol pulled up and changed the tire!!!!!!!!!
Sooooo relieved!!!!!!! YAY!!!! All he wanted in return was to fill out a comment card. Hell yah!!! Give me the whole fricken stack!!!!!!!! :D :D
On the road again.........................................

Moms babbling............
Since mom is going to go crazy in the next week, she wanted to share some info.
I will be all obsessed with Buddy photoshoot and the long 10-12 hr trek to WI - that I know I would forget to fill in my blog family about my new job and stuff. :)
Got a new job that starts on Monday, May 14th. Still in the plastic injection molding area, but things just seemed too good to pass up:
1. First shift, right away... 8 - 430
2. not even 10 min drive. WOOHOO!
3. Controlled Temp. WOOHOO! (If you know me, I DESPISE the heat, and by heat I mean anything over 70!)
4. More $
5. Benefits package
6. No need to buy my own tools
7. 3 week training period (vs. "here read this spec sheet")
It was all way crazy - everything happened in like a week....picked up the app on a wednesday. They called thursday for an interview. Interviewed on a tuesday. There was a verbal and math test to pass. I didn't expect to pass the math at all. Then the interview came and went. Neither the HR or the "boss" looked terrribly impressed. But, it was ok, I mean, I didn't even expect them to call me in the first place. I still had a job and paycheck, so I didn't get flustered or anything. So then before I even get home (cuz it is less than 10 min away) there was a vm on my phone, they liked to hire me!!!!
THEN!!!! at the current job:
the morning I was going to give my two week notice, they tell me I'm going to first shift. Just like that. No asking, just "You're coming to first monday." Ummm............ok. That's what I said too!! "ooooooookkkkkkkkkk" But I took the weekend to decide what I wanted to do (cuz who knows, this new place could be terrible, or they don't like me or whatever!) But I chose to try it....and my current place said they were sad to lose me, but would welcome me back in the need arises. So that was nice. It was a good send off. :D
oh, and I quit the at home project, it wasn't working out...spending more than I had.........I know that's life, but it just wasn't going anywhere. Se la vie.
I also got 6" cut from my hair..........it's a cute little bob...just above the shoulders. It's cute, but for some reason, the sides of my hair tend to curl, while the back stays mostly straight....so usually after my shower, if I let it air dry w/o anything, it gets 3 times bigger. I'm a pasty white chic with a big 'fro. No lie.
I can't wait to meet most of you in good ol WI - pugfest!!! Remember, I'm super shy, so come say hi to me and buddy!!!! :D Buddy is an attention whore, so he won't mind. hehehe.
so that's my boring stuff. More Buddy stuff to come this week. :)
